Mangoes, jackfruits, cashews and other Goan fruit delicacies are set to hit foreign markets. The Goa State Horticultural Development Corp has stated it is planning to export these fruits to other countries.

In making Class X exams optional, the HRD Minister has taken us a step in the right direction. But a lot more is needed, especially in Goa. We need the school system itself examined.

It would appear citizens in Goa are presented with the most accurate news, making us well-informed citizens. Think again.

The Goa government along with the rest of India and the media has gone overboard in the 'fight' against swine flu, bordering on mass hysteria.

It is entirely possible that in the "comedy" surrounding the Goa Speaker's "threat" to two writers, there is a danger the larger issue could be drowned out.

Over 10 000 tons of illegal waste lying around all over Estonia. One outrageous plan - to clean it all up on one day!
