Goa can still attract the business community says CM Kamat

Chief Minister Mr Digambar Kamat said Goa is "still the most preferred business destination despite the bold decision to scrap the Special Economic Zone policy."

He was speaking at the launch of the BSNL Wimax Broadband service at the Verna Industrial Estate.

Mr Kamat said, "Recently, the three State awards conferred to Goa in health, education and investment shows that the State is still the most preferred destination in the country for business community."

He said he had spoken to top economists and they had concurred that Goa was still the most preferred place for business community in the western region due to its environment and facilities for business.
