The members of Anti-mining Nagargao Panchayat Level Action Committee, deciding to protest against the proposed mining activity in Dhave, have presented their objections in response to the public notice of the pollution control board. 

Meetings were held to discuss the future course of action on the proposed mining activities, which are scheduled to start in Dhave, Sattari. 

Speaking to ‘The Navhind Times’, Mr Devidas Paryekar, a panch member of Nagargao panchayat said that panchayat members are strongly opposed to the mining activities.
