Sebastian D'Cruz, Chronicler of Siolim passes away

Sebastian D'Cruz, the  "Chronicler of Siolim" died on Monday. He was 83.

Starting with his first publication  "Know the parish and village of Siolim" in 1982, D'Cruz produced "The history of the Siolim church", "Parish and village of Siolim", "The churches of Bardez", and "The life of St Anthony and Siolim" among other publications.

D'Cruz is survived by his wife Lurdin and five children.

The funeral service will be held on September 9 at St Anthony's church at 3 pm.
