Bailancho Saad states that the senior officers of police committed a breach of trust who went partying at the casinos instead of conducting  surveillance of illegal activities of the casinos as was decided at the meeting of IGP with the NGO’s and Goa State Commission for Women.

Casino operators in Goa went on a one day token strike today to protest against the govt's decision to hike entrance fees.

Show cause notices were issued to four off-shore casinos for not submitting the documents required to renew their no objection certificate (NOC) for plying in River Mandovi.

The offshore casino operators have requested Goa government to constitute Casino Control Board (CCB) for regulating offshore casino industry.

Licences of 5 out of 6 offshore casinos operating on the River Mandovi have expired.
