Swimming against the tide to strike it rich in Bollywood

Baretto’s Aao Wish Karein set for November 13 release
“If you believe in fairy-tales, you become a part of it,” says the promo of the new Hindi film Aao Wish Karein posted on Facebook, the social networking site. A film which is interwoven around a 12-year-old child's desire to grow up.
The film which has been shot in Shimla, Manali, Mumbai and one song in Goa, is the second film as director for Glen Barretto, who traces his roots to Galgibaga village of Canacona Taluka.
Shetgaonkar heralds new gen of filmmaking in India
Moving Images film club, Goa expressed delight that Goan director Laximikant Shetgoankar has been awarded the International Critics (FIPRESCI) prize in the Discovery Section at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival for his film 'Paltadacho Munis' (The Man Beyond the Bridge).
