A police team, investigating a case of house breaking and theft at Old Goa, has left for Punjab in search of the suspect, Kulwant Singh, 26, from Amritsar. 

On Thursday, an NRI, Anil Noorie, who has a laundry business in America, in his complaint to the Old Goa police said that he was staying in the rented flat since the last one year with his friend Kulwant. 

An unsuspecting Non Resident Indian businessman from the US, Mr Anil Noorie (46), presently staying at Old Goa, was allegedly robbed by his friend from Punjab, one Kulwant Singh, to the tune of Rs 17 lakh on July 15.
